command problem

It happens to me a few times...

When we boot to recovery console i xp
Any command like
chkdsk /r
or dir
gives error "can't recongnize command"

from command line type 'echo %path%'

at the very minimum lines such as this should be in there

C:\WINNT\system32;C:\WINNT;

but subsitute winnt for windows due to xp

Here's a list of the commands available in the recovery console:

and chkdsk is listed. Have you tried "chkdsk /R"? I think the swithes are case sensitive.

he has been posting the same excat question in several forums
and spamming another one. has beem officealy been warrened or will be banned.
