Mandrake 9.2 RC2

Hello,
I just realized LinuxISO.org have Mandrake 9.2 RC2 (Release Candidate 2) available to download. I was thinking if it was worth the download or just wait for the final release? I am currently using Mandrake 9.1 and Redhat 9 but I am interested to see how Mandrake 9.2 looks and operates. What are the difference from Mandrake 9.2 RC2 and the final release? Does the RC2 have issues or know problems taht I should be aware of?

I think JKrohn said that the final was going to be made available to the general public on Nov 1.

If it were me I'd wait.

(but if you're really asking me I'd just keep using RH 9 - that was a great release)

I love Redhat 9, and I think its a great distro. The problem is that Mandrake 9.1 has support for my Hewlett-Packard printer (deskjet 5500) and Redhat 9 doesnt. I dont know if there are drivers available so I can use it with Redhat but I havent found any. But if I do I would definetely stay with Redhat 9. Although I must say I like to just play around with distros and just see how they are so I am still interested in Mandrake 9.2

The amount of upgraded packages is about 200 or so.

I was running RC2 for awhile, and used urpmi to upgrade using the RPM's off the final disks. The total came to a little over 200 or so, and most were big packages.

rehat 9 looks pretty, and is quite nice to use, now i've got used to it, but i still prefer my mandrake 9.1. pity it had issues with my cdrw (liteon) and halfdead dvdrom I was going to retry mandrake, but my replacement dvdrom is, guess... THAT'S RIGHT an LG and i'm not too keen on killing it in it's first few weeks of life. it does, however play dvd+r out of the box, when the box clearly states it doesn't, so maybe it's worth a try
