mouse plastic feet?

Hey all,
weird question...
have microsoft wheel mouse optical, works great. I even use it instead of a wireless logitech cuz I like it better.(use the wireless keyboard though)
Anyway, it's getting old and the plastic little feet things on the bottom of the mouse have worn just about in so that the mouse doesn't sit on them anymore.
Anyone know where to buy replacements of these, or even better what they are called? Couldn't seem to find the words for google to pull up what I meant.
thanks,
dragonb

Give Microsoft a call or shoot them an email and see if they'll send you out some replacements. I belive they are teflon pads. They are adhesive backed so they are easy to remove and replace.

you get teflon tape which may make an acceptable substitute, try an electronics retailer (rs components or maplins in the uk) or maybe scotch/3m

paul9 is right. I've done that a couple times now for my beloved Logitech Mini-Mouse. Just snag the feet from another mouse. If they don't stick well just use some superglue. Be careful, it only takes a tiny tiny tiny amount of superglue.

well couldn't you just spray some non-stick cooking spray on the bottom? LMAO

I agree with the above...use the feet from an old mouse...or glue some small ball bearings to the bottom...just don't use your mouse on an antique tabletop! ouch!

great link doublek. nice clean site (not too confusing)

i read this a while back. You can take the plastic milk cartons(1gallon size) and just the sizes you need and super glue them to the mouse. cheap instant replacements.
