Kids Outlook Express Spell Checker

I recently ran the spellchecker for the first time since I upgraded from Windows 98SE to XP Pro (clean install) about 2 months ago. Instead of working like it usually did, I get the following error message.
"An error occured while the spelling was being checked"

Not much to go on. I checked all my properties, options, ect. and all appears to be correct. I have all the latest updates, and because it was a very long time since I used the spellchecker, I can't go back to any one point in time and say this is when it started. I was hoping that someone else has encountered this problem and can advise me as to how I should proceed.

Thanking all in advance,

Robert

I have Microsoft Office installed, all up-to-date. I'm not using the Office version of Outlook, but Outlook Express 6. The spellcheck always worked under Windows98SE, and it's possible that it did after my XP Pro upgrade, but I never used the spellcheck in the period, until this afternoon, when I had one of those words that just didn't look right, so I decided to run the spellcheck and got that error message. I appreciate the input. I'll be looking for solutions myself. Maybe I need to reinstall something. Or uninstall something

Puk, the link you provide to the old forum posting looks like the information I need. I'm going to work on it right now, and will keep everyone posted. I'm sure it will work now. Thanks!

Okay guys, I was going to ask the question in the old thread, but thought I better do it here. Where can I get the file?
csapi3t1.dll

Ran a search on my local drive and on my Office CD. No luck. Is it a CAB file on the CD? Any help would be appreciated.

Found the file on the internet, downloaded it, copied into the correct folder, and my spellcheck is back! This must been an XP Pro specific problem. I went down to my daughter's computer, which has Outlook Express running under Windows 98SE, and the spellcheck ran fine. Anyway, I'm a happy camper now Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
