XP Pro Admin question

I'm the Admin on the computer at the fire station where I work. There are 3 other accounts which are limited users. There are 11 people per shift, so I had to gain control of what programs were installed and removed which saved a ton of problem solving.

Here's my question; How do I install a program so that all users have access? It's mostly games. The reason I have admin priv, is to stop all the downloads that 33 people can do and really screw up the computer in no time. I need to install the programs they want and have it be accessible to 'all users'.

XP Pro OS.

Help please, Hurry! When things don't go right, all of them want to yell at me.

Isn't it when u install programs with XP it asks if you want to use this for Admin or allow everybody to use it?? Don't remeber if that works for games though but I'm pretty sure that option comes up with like Microsoft Office. Hope that helps.
I went into control panel and went to user accounts and I couldn't find anything there I will keep looking to try to help u out.

Hey Jerry!

A lot of programs use installation routines that are not "Multi-User aware". Here lies the problem. Try placing a shortcut to the program in the All Users account (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs), this should make the program available to all users.

Let us know how it turns out...

So just put a 'shortcut' in that folder is all?

Thanks! I also found this in windows-help.net just now trying to help myself.

Q: Why can't other users see newly installed programs? I installed them using the Admin. account, but even if I give the other users Admin. rights, they can't see the programs?
