Computer being wierd...

When ever i'm playing a game it will take me straight back to my desktop every 5 min (it's like as if i pushed alt+tab which i did'nt), it gets really annoying when i'm in a middle of a game aswell, i can return to the game in no problems but it happens every 5 mins, and there nothing wrong with the software because i have tried it with other games plus my pc never actually used to do this until recently, any tips would be appriciated...

Yes, it is weird. Why 5 minutes? Why not 10 or 20? Has it got to do anything with software registration? Like my Norton Anti-Virus, if i havent updated it for a while, on any application that I run (eg game), it would switch me back to desktop again for registration.

You may want to check any possible virus. Is it just that particular game?Does it happen to other games as well?

Nah i don't have Norton anti virus, and it's not just this particular game it's with other one's as well, but i have had problems with pop up adds in the past do u think that has n e thing 2 do with it? It should'nt though cause i play offline...

Try to clean your computer
Use programs such as Ad-aware and Spybot to delete all the spyware you might have in your computer. Delete the temporary internet files, cookies and all stuff that you dont need. And of course get an antivirus. AVG free antivirus is excellent for users that dont want to spend any money and pickel gave the link to download it. HTH

I agree, it sounds like a program on your computer is trying to access the internet or something and it is probably spyware of some sort I use spyware blaster and spyware guard from Wilderssecurity.com. They are both free.
