Kids How to boot from the new S-ata

I am building a new computer and having problems booting from my S-ata hard-drive. I used the seagate wizard to partition and format the drive. But I still can't boot from it. If I boot from a floppy and try to change c: it says invalid drive.

Motherboard= P4p800 Deluxe
CPU= 2.4GHz/800fsb
os= Planning on installing winXP home edition

Please Help!!!!!

I almost goofed...
That is a ASuS MoBO -- the drivers are on the CD - you will have to browse them from another computer ~the manufacturer's support CD almost ALWAYS has them on there -- Intel can also supply them to you.
here they are:

read it all!!! Good luck

Man my board was driving me nuts with the same issue, I finally used an 8GB Maxtor as my boot drive to hold the OS and set my SATA's in a raid set as storage and love the way it works. Just remember to create the proper files so all your storage goes into the SATA's.
