Programs cant share sound play
If one program's playing sounds, and another trys to, it says sound card is in use or something like that. The sound is on the motherboard. I dont know anything about the motherboard. I've had many problems with the sound. It's listed in the device manager as SoundMax integrated digital audio. I've had to reinstall it a few times because its entry in the device manager disappears and I cant play any sound. It takes a long time to find the drivers too, since the computer's a compaq. Anyone know a fix for this? I'm not going to buy a sound card to fix it, because I'm building a new system.
