anyone with a nforce2 or kt600 board ever try registered memory ??

Hi

guys anyone with a nforce2 or kt600 board tried registered memory ?
Im looking for a board for my memory (yes the other way around ) I got some 1gb sticks for dirt cheap and Id like to use em if I can, but I was wondering what nforce2 or kt600 board will accept these
anyone know ?

dont mind at all, but the link to "what is reg ram" is scary, I mean guys who dont know what it is havent tried it for sure

what I found mostly was, dual Xeon, dual athlon, and servers, some only for certain boards.

yep and none of those are nforce2 or kt600 and Im looking for one that will have a pci lock or a decent divider

see the amd 761 boards will support reg ram and I can give you a list of single cpu boards that will take reg ram, but none of them have a pci lock or a decent divider

yes we know, at least I know very well what it is
you misunderstood, I meant the link was scary because my question was directed towards guys who already know what it is
