20 year old splitter = bad internet. No Duhh!!

Cable's been disconnecting. Bad up and down speeds.

Cable's techs have been here 2 other times. No change.

Finally today they show up again. And as usual they say this is a self install. My problem.

Tell the dude I've been here since '83 and in no way have I installed any cabling myself. He says we don't use this coax.

I ask him how old he is. He say 26. I say: "And what type of cable did your company use when you were 6 years old?" No answer.

Finally another guy shows up and finds a splitter in the garage that no one else found. Changed it out and guess what?

Double the speed!

Bill

Double is better than half in terms of speed.
