Mouse probs?

Hello,

I know this sounds funny, but several times in the last month or so (most recently today) when i boot my computer and get to my desktop, my mouse arrow just freezes there like its not plugged in to the ps2 port. (it is connected) I rebooted my computer and same thing happened each time. I finally took it out and now am using a serial mouse.

Im just wondering, why is this happening?

Send a message via Yahoo to muno
Could be your ps2 port is bad.
That can happen if you remove/install the cable on the fly (your computer is running).

Dead mouse maybe? Try another.

Dirty mouse? Clean.

Drivers corrupted? Uninstall and reinstall.

Dead port?

hey muno and bill.

Thanks for the reply.

Mouse is cleaned, is fairly new, could be the port i guess, and will re-install the drivers.

thanks
