Kids Ess pci 1969 audiodrive problem

Hey there everyone i have a REALLY old pc (Cyrix 266) and it came with a Ess PCI 1969 Audiodrive (WDM).
My problem is that when i play stereo and Midi sounds at the same time all i get is crackling but if i play them seperatly everythings fine, this is really anoying me because games and other pieces of software use this mix of midi and stereo sounds so i cant actually use them. i've tried updating the drivers but that did nothing and i've tried asking Ess for tech support but they we're useless.
Any ideas?
Oh by the way i'm running Windows Xp (i know thats stupid on this hunk of crap)

Beg j/k

Did you try uninstalling the card and moving it to another PCI slot?

BTW, welcome to TIMO.
