USB on an older Machine?

Hi,

We have an old Compaq Deskpro 2000 here on this ship that has two USB Ports on the Mobo but no reference to USB anywhere on it.It's a PII 233 128Mb RAM and running NT4 Sp 5 . Believe it or not this used to be the Network Server. Now it's going to have a new lease of life as a Workstation in the Engine Room and it would be nice to have the USB Ports working.

No USB Ports are shown anywhere in the Compaq Diagnostics.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how this can be accomplished?

Cheers

Linux, Windows 98, 2K, or XP will recognize the USB ports
