Need suggestion where or if i can find a software for mandrake

Hi everyone! As a comlete linux newbie (but lovin' it) I have yet another question (and prolly hundreds more on the way) Anyways i will stop blabbing and get to the point. Point is, I like to listen to online radio stations when i work on my puter. (my room is tiny, and i have no room to bring in anything else) Anyways, most of the online radio staions that i listen to, use real audio, but unfortunatley most of the good ones that i like use windows media player.(i beleive it loads and .asx extension but i may be wrong) Is there any software that you guys know of that will allow me to still do so ....

Thanks again,

mplayer can do it -just make sure you have all the available codecs -if you are using the downloaded version of Mandrake you can get mplayer rpms for it at www.rpmfind.net If you have the paid "PowerPack" edition mplayer comes on the CDs.

Do a google search for "mplayer online radio" and you will also find some useful links

www.sourceforge.net
I use this site for most of the programs I want for my Mandrake, this site is full of different software and some of them are .rpm files which helps most newbies

Send a message via AIM to originel
i can't really say for mplayer as i use xine, but they use the same codecs.

as for xine, all i had to do was copy the files to /usr/lib/win32 and xine detected them on startup, mplayer may be the same way
