ECS N2U400-A

I can't get this to boot. The PSU has no ATX2 connector on it but the mobo does. does this mobo require the ATX2 12V connector to work?

Hi,
Same problem here. I have connect ATX2 and ATX1. But no video or beep. CPU fan runs fine. CPU works on another system. I tried using Kingston PC2700 512DDR and also K byte PC2100 256 DDR. No luck. Can someone please help.
Thanks in advance.

Front242, yes it does. That's why it's there.

fatsel, have you moved the "CMOS clear" jumper to Normal?

I had a problem once with my mobo not booting. Did you just put it in the case? If so, make sure the riser screws are in the right spots. You could be shorting your mobo with one of the screws that is not in the correct place.
Also, Like Peter said, see if the CMOS clear jumper is in the normal position and not the clear. That would cause no video or beeps to occur.

Work

Hi,
thanks for your reply. I changed to jumper setting to clear BIOS and left it like that for a long time. Then when I restarted it I could hear the beep. Seated the memory properly and now it boosts. Thanks for the suggestions.
