DVD Server

I want to build a DVD server. I would like to run the video into my stereo receiver and out into the tv.... is this possible?? what are some of the major things i'll need to look for?

If you're talking about having a server that has a DVD drive and then trying to play a DVD through a network, I don't think that's possible.

However, if you just want to plug your computer into the TV and watch a DVD, that's simple.

Just get a cable to go from the TV out on your video card, and then have it plug into your in port on the VCR. Plug your sound card into your surround sound/receiver and you can watch a DVD.

If you don't have a TV out on your video card you'll have to get one that has it.

I don't know much about it, I'm sure others will be able to help you with the details
