problem with NHL

Problem with NHl
I have a Asus P4pe Motherboard (with a ATI 9500 pro)and I am trying to solve a problem with all of the Nhl Game
(nhl 2002, 2003 and 2004).

When I play with the keyboard ,there is no problem at all , but when I assigne a gamepad (logitech, microsoft or other)the game start to freeze shortly while playing. It doesn't matter which
resolution screen i use (640 x 480 with all details off ).

I tried all the driver's update from Windows XP, all the update
for my gamepad.....
i've also tried the update for my motherboard
i don't know if it's an USB problem or .........

can someone help me or tell me if you have the same problem

Hey, I have the same exact thing for NHL 2004 on PC. I have a fine time with FIFA 2004 with my game controller, and I also have (like you) a fine time playing with the keyboard on NHL, but when I assign the controller the game goes at like 1/2 speed. I differ than you slightly whereas my screen never freezes, but I have a very annoying problem of the game going in slowmo the whole time. EMAIL ME IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING ON THIS.

strange. never had that issue with any of the nhl games. maybe you have an issue with the game port on your soundcard? or are you using an onboard sound/game port...............

also, any other issues with the gamepad(whicever one you use primarily) with other games. Welcome to Techimo btw

dont rule out a bios update either if applicable.
