Commercials on start up

Is there someway I can get rid of the Freedom commercials that come on every time I start my computer. I have tried to go to control panel to remove them but that does not work. I know it has something to do with Norton anti-virus because I deleted that program and I didn't have the problem but I didn't have protection either so I reinstalled it. Anyone help.

Hmm. I'm not sure with the specific commercials you're talking about, but I would recommend that you download and run these two programs:

AD-AWARE

Spybot Search & Destroy

Sounds to me like you've got some spyware on your PC.

Never thought of them as commercials...lol.
You can also get a good pop-up stopper . My kid swears by it.
