Hello everyone, I've had my computer running for a while now. its a P4 2.8 and i have a msi neo2 motherboard. I came by an article on a site which rated motherboard performances. It said something about a few motherboards including mine with a fuction called PAT which should drastically improve performance. It says to change a setting under the bios into ultra turbo mode, which i did, but i wasnt able to run my system stablely under that setting....does anyone know anything about this kinda stuff?? perhaps give me a link to a site which could gime a little more detail about the function?? thanks a lot.
Umm, well it sounds like your computer basically set everything it could possibly do to the max it could sustain without failing to boot, and as a result is unstable.
Btw, a "MSI Neo2" is rather undescriptive- and do you have a 2.8 P4C, or 2.8 P4B?
