pci slot cooler

ok i saw this somewhere but i can't find the guide now. i saw where someone had mounted an 80MM fan onto a PC board (from radio shack) shaped it to fit into a PCI slot and put it next to the VGA card to keep it cool. does anyone know where i can find the guide?

I know what you are talking about Ph@r@oh....they took an old Soundblaster card, stripped all the components off of it, sanded off the contacts to avoid any problems in the PCI slot, cut a hole in it and then mounted the fan...quite slick if you have a spare PCI card laying around and some time.

yea i think that was it (basically) only when i saw it they didnt use a sound card they just used a blank project board that they cut in the shape of a PCI slot.

If you don't want to go to all that trouble there is a flat fan that
mounts to the expantion slot .

Why? The FX5200 is often weaker than the MX460, and the 460 is slower than the R9000 Pro. It's just a terrible card.
