router and card

Will these two components work together or do I need to buy both the router and card from same manufaturer?? Or at least which one of the Cards should I purchase??

yes, all of that should work together..its all 802.11b stuff.

The dlink card is for laptops.....I guess you knew that...obviously by it saying "pc card" that means laptop.

The only other thing you might think of is if you have an old motherboard it is possible it isnt a pci 2.2 motherboard. If its remotely new it is probably fine for those pci adapters.
