Anyone know a good MP3 recorder like Super Mp3 Pro Recorder? That just copys a file or 'What U Hear' and makes it an mp3?

Sorry this won't be of much help.. but.. I know at one point, the program "MediaJukebox" was able to record into mp3 (or any other formats). Even though the evaluation expired, some features (such as recording MP3s) was still enabled.

I know they have recently released a new multimedia suite, and it may no longer be the case. Media Jukebox

In followup to my original post, MediaJukebox v8.0 Free can record analog audio and encode in restricted MP3 format. Both features are available in the FREE versoin according to this comparison

Note, MediaJukebox is different than MusicMatch Jukebox.

I have used MediaJukebox to record my own MP3s without paying a dime. I used the "external encoder" option, to avoid the 'restricted mp3' encoding. I downloaded BladeEnc for Windows and pointed MediaJukebox to use this external encoder (with all defaults).
