Motocross Madness Problem

My son gave me a Motocross Madness CD and I am having a problem with it. It installed OK. will play but it will not exit from a game. I tried almost every key. I think ESC is the exit key. This is on a PC with 2x1.2amd's 256mb ram and a nivida GF2 Ti and win2000OS. I have the newest drivers. Could the game be to old for my setup? Naaa Can't find the ver# for the game.

You are right, the esc key is the exit key. I don't think motocross madness works with windows 2k. I have played it for over 2 years and from what I have heard it doesn't work with that OS. It runs fine on 95 or 98. With Win XP you have to change the compatability to win 98 in the properties tab for the game to run. It runs fine on fast systems also. I think its the win 2000 OS. Sorry I couldn't give you better news.....

It did run on my 98 system and exit just fine. Strange that MCM has a read me with fixes for 2K. I must read them again. Great game though.

I never have ran win2000, so I don't know how it works with the game. I know a lot of people tried it and didn't have much luck if any. Maybe it will work with the fixes you mentioned. I hope it does because its fun to play online in the Gaming Zone. Not many people play it online though...most have moved on to Motocross Madness 2. Hope it works for you........
