Help with "Invalid Patition Table"

I put together a comp for some neighbors using their small pre-existing hdd with W95 on it and threw in another small hdd with W98 on it. All they have to do is set first boot device in BIOS depending on which install they want to boot from. Now the Win95 drive is reporting this error. Any ideas or suggestions appreciated. BTW. I did a search for this and I was suprised it truned up nothing. TIA

You could try:

1 - Booting from a Start-up disk and typing "fdisk /mbr".

2 - Running Norton Disk Doctor.

3 - Some earlier hd's and motherboards didn't always communicate well if they hadn't been partitioned and formatted together. You might have to repartition and reformat.
