Photoshop Actions ??

Actions in Photoshop:
is it possible to have a command pause for user input?
let's say that you record "add noise" and want to let the user input the values (instead of the one you have at the time you recorded)
sorry if it sounds confusing what i'm asking but hope somebody will understand!!

In your Actions palette there is a toggle switch for each step of each action that lets you turn on/off the dialog window for that step. When the dialog window is on and the action is run it will stop at each step that has the dialog toggled on. Then you change the settings if you want and click "ok" then the action will resume running.

See attached image.
