Help booting new os in drive

Hello all as you can see Ive just created 2 new partitions 1 for boot magic as I had both NTFS C and D, And an ( i ) which is close to 20 gig. The problem Im having is after the Bootmagic configuration I rebooted with the new Xp os and I clicked the box saying install new OS now, i get to a blue screen checking system and then a info saying press F8 to accepct or ESC to not. Ive nearly pushed the F8 key through the key board but nothing happens so I press the ESC and reboot, So Im stuck with a new partition that i can not install the os on. Is there any way of manually installing (Xp pre sp2) into my new partition.

Thanks for any help

You don't need bootmagic to load xp on a different partiton. If your disk has two partitions already, when you install xp, it will recognize your drive and the partitons, you pick the partiton you want install to, format it and install. Its straight forward.

Welcome to TechIMO!

Out of curiousity, what is your current OS? 2K?
