Maybe you're overheating.

Does it do it with the case off?

When's the last time you cleaned out the "dust bunnies?"

Well, the first thing to do is get rid of that f****** Norton!!!!! Probably the 3rd worst program out there (to YOL [Yuppies On Line] and Idiot Exploiter). Uncheck it running at startup either through the program itself and/or MS Config.

Do the same with that other crap. None of that needs to be running at startup. Start them when you use them as needed since you aren't using them all at the same time. That may or may not be the problem, but there isn't need for all of that running out of the gate. It's enough just to load M$'s bloated O/S's let along more garbage.

Sorry to blast out at you, but I really gets me to see the startuplist of non M$ programs longer than the M$ processes including the system tray extending over halfway through the task bar.

If that does work if you REALLY need to have some of that stuff running at startup try one at a time.

Hope that helps.
