Sony Giga Pocket Problem on Windows XP

Hoping maybe someone else has been through this. Giga Pocket used to work fine, then all of a sudden awhile back when I began to run the video recorder,it would come on and then the computer would just restart. My C drive crashed awhile after that and I had to do a restore and install everything again, and it stopped restarting when I opened video recorder. But then after I installed the windows critical update, it began doing the same thing again. Anyone?

I had the same problem with Giga Pocket Video Recorder after installing an XP update -- just about the same time, October 03. I had given up on resolving the problem and had decided to live without the recorder. Did you get any resolution to the problem? If so, would you mind telling me how you solved it?
