Firewalls - ZA kills AIM, Kerio crashes
Hello. I've been having lots of problems with firewalls lately, and would appreciate your help.
ZoneAlarm was working well, except for a few nagging things--it would force AIM to reconnect every 2 hours or so, I had to shut it off to use Dictionary.com, sometimes it would "ad block" some images and buttons I needed on the net.
So, I tried Kerio 4, which corrected all those problems beautifully. However, after a while it randomly crashes (the icon disappears, no error messages, but remains in task manager), but it takes the internet down with it, and I have to reboot to get any internet access back.
Any suggestions? Has anyone else had these problems? Any other programs I could use (I know these are the big two, although there's Tiny and others). Would Kerio Winroute provide the same features with more stability if I can get it?
