BIOS corrupted within 10 minutes??
Hi everyone,
I'm using the Aopen Nforce2 400 board that I just got and installed. I finially got it hooked up and turned it on to find that it hadn't detected my FSB properly. So I entered the BIOS and switched it to the proper speed for a athlon 2800+ by clicking "optimal settings" or something to that effect. Now I rebooted the computer and the Dr. Voice is saying "Your processor may have a problem" So after many headaches I decided to switch over to the diehard BIOS which to my great relief seems to work. So apprehensively I went back in and set it to the correct FSB manually. Now everything is working fine however if I switch it back to my normal BIOS then nothing works. So my question is when I get an OS installed on it is there any way I can install the BIOS onto the main chip hassle free?
thanks,
Beowulf
