Anybody play savage?
Hey all...
I've been playing the demo for a week or 2 now... Wicked game... I'm tempted to buy the full version... But a lack of people playing on the australian full version servers kinda sucks... And the ping on the US servers are abit high... The aussie servers get laggy enuff sometimes!
Anyways... for anyone that doesn't know... Basically the game is a online only, combo between RTS & FPS game...
basically there are 2 teams, each team has 1 commander, the commander plays the RTS role, tells people where to build things, where to attack, research new items for FPS to use etc... Everyone else has the FPS side of the game... run around mining, building, attacking, etc...
So yeh, anybody from techimo play this?

Yeah,
I got it. Fun game, I think I played the demo, then bought it like a day later off the internet so I saved $10 and have a nocd crack built in. =D
Wickid Game......it's like......Organized Chaos.

Yeh, can be a very fun game indeed...
I still havent bought it yet, and yep i'll be buying it & downloading it rather than getting them to send me the CD...
If it weren't for the lack of australia full game server activity (they are there, but don't often have people in them) then i'd probably already own it...

I got the demo...very nice but I wont buy it...saving money to build my first computer

i'm getting closer to the stage that i'm just gonna buy it... i don't like playing the commander cuz i don't like RTS games... But on the demo it seems all the people that were good commanders have now got the full version, and the commanders on the demo servers have got no idea... Half the time i am telling them what to do...
I mean its fair enuff to not be real good when ya 1st playing, but i've seen these guys commanding before, yet they've still got no idea... Some of them are building garrisons RIGHT next to the stronghold and RIGHT next to spawn points.... Kinda seems a waste doing that...
Anywho... i'll end my rant there hehe...

It's fun if the commander knows what he's doing and makes me an officer so i can tell others what to do, strong leaders and communication are key to winning the game. Memorize the quick chat menus | |
