freecom burner software name

Hi,
My friend has moved from england to australia. They have the freecom cable paralletl/classic creative cdrw 6.4 24x.
They had to reformat their computer and thus have been unable to use the burner as the software they used may of been left overseas and they are unsure what the name is. they have tried using nero 5.0 but it must be uncompatible as it will not burn anything for them.
i am hoping that someone may know the name of the software so we can try and work out how they can use their burner again.

That older Creative burner probably came with Adaptec Easy Cd Creator V4...

hi,
I finally caught up with my friends. I had downloaded the software and went to install with no luck. Then I thought maybe there is a conflict with the computer. Is there any reason why it could not be installed. Is there maybe a conflict with zones/regions on computers (i know when i download upgrades for ie: printer/scanner etc) it says make sure for hardware only purchased in NZ or Aus ?? Just an idea. I installed nero but that doesn't work either with their burner. If we change the burner, (aussie one) & software - do you think there may be a conflict with the rest or it might work?
