NO VIDEO**PL HELP
I assembled a VDB400 / XP2400+ with radeon 9600, was working for a few days, then I opened up to change the processor, assembled back, started --> No Video (has no speaker,old case)
Bought a new video card assembled again --> No Video
Reseated RAM, Reseated working processor --> No Video
Please Help, have to get it working by tomorrow !

try reseating the vid card? reset the cmos? do you get beeps? hope it isnt too late

I reseated the vid card, bought a new 256 stick, still nothing
Took out CMOS battery for 10 mins , reset the CMOS, still no video

Stupid suggestions of the day. Is the monitor plugged into the video card? Is the monitor powered up? |

Replace with another CPU and test!
Maybe you chipped the core of that AMD.

Yes, I did try it out with another Processor ! Nothing
The FANS on CPU, H/S, Vid Card are all running....

Did you try to boot with just the motherboard, video, cpu and ram only?
Also, did you made sure that your motherboard is not shorting out with the case? (you can just test the motherboard out of the case for this.!

How about trying another PSU on the system? Stranger things have happened....

I took the MOBO out of the case, put the Video, CPU and RAM, still nothing. The monitor gets a little grey flash when I restart, but goes back to all black.
How can I make sure that the MOBO is still good !
