i think it boots

i just got my soyo kt400 mobo with the 2500+ barton with 512mb ddr pc2700, heres the thing my video card doesnt work with out it the comp boots up fine i think cuz i can turn it off and the little beepeing noise sounds but i cant see if it goes into bios or not cuz the video card is not in it, witht the video card in it it turns on but no beeping sound and i have to turn it off by the switch on the power supply, and i dont think it boots. but without it i think it does cuz it makes the little sound and crap, but my video card is this sonice blue diamond viper 770 i think it is its not mine but my friends, and i dont know the v's on it but this little thing on the mobo says can only support 1.5v and u can make it .8v, so i dont know if it boots, and i need to know if anything is messed up so i can rma it in time but without a video card that works what should i do.

I'm not quite sure what your saying...that was kind of illegible...

Make sure the card your using is compatible with the AGP type...for example, if your running a max AGP 4x make sure the card is not 8x.....You might also want to check and make sure the card isn't fried....

the max on the board is 8x pro and the card is 4x, but ill check the card cuz it came from my old computer

what i was saying in the first thing i dont think it works or boots with the video card with out the video card it seems to work or boot fine
