Yahoo Oh No

I have found that after I install Yahoo messenger that my puter goes crazy. fatal exceptions and what not, IE has all kinds of funky problems as well, but if I leave it off, no problems. Is it something with thier new software and 98se, or is it my kids chatting and not knowing how to work the puter properly? Probably the later eh?
Just wondering if anyone has had the same problems, I'd rather not have it to begin with, although I have friends on there

My sister installs so much junk on my dad's computer she scrwed it up twice....

Then she got her computer back and screwed it up too.... arghh

I just reformat and start fresh, I don't wanna know how much crap is in the registry....

I think it's the kids, I have never used Yahoo Messenger, however...

Only twice? ROFL MY dad would love if I only fried his computer twice, sometimes I don't even know how I do it. A couple times it was just the PS crapped out and I happened to be the person using the computer at the time. That doesn't count.

We have a lot of freedom at the place I work as far as downloading chat clients, realplayer, etc. The new Yahoo IM has butchered a couple of the systems here, some of the others it was installed on have been ok though. Don't be surprised if it causes problems though.
