Frames per second on TV

My son and I were just watching a replay in the ACLS and he asked what the FPS was on a TV camera.

Anyone?

Bill

Im not completely sure, but here's my guess(es)

29.970 for NTSC Signal (american TV, etc)
25 for PAL signal (Australia, new zealand etc)
23.976 for films (movies, etc)

As you can see, films are recorded using less frames than normal Television!

Cheers
