all the time i see
Hercules Radeon 9800
Club3D Radeon 9800 Pro
Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro
Connect3D Radeon 9800 Pro
what's the difference?

The manufacturer. All those cards use the vpu from ATI, but companies can design them differently. Some are better than others at OC, some have VIVO, etc.

Built by ATI is always good. Also Hercules, Saphire, Powercolor, Crucial all make good stuff.

how do i find out which my Radeon is? i have dimension 8250 i haven't looked in yet but is there a way to find out with a software?

look on the card itself .it should say it on the card itself somewhere .if not there should be a fcc # you can look that # up online and see who made the card .

Bingo: I think that is Visiontek's brand name??(probably wrong)
Cyber: right click on desktop and open display properties. Go to settings. It will be listed below the monitor icon. Or hit advanced and click adapter.

Radeon 9700, nothing else is written there, but never mind, i just wanted to find out for what i already got the answer
