Computer Restarts when Windows Loads

Here's my problem. On my desktop whenever windows loads, the computer restarts automatically as soon as the desktop appears, sometimes sooner.

Here are the events leading up to it:

Computer was starting to run a little bit slow, but not too bad
Kept getting slower over about a week
I was playing counterstrike and was getting pretty bad fps, so I decided that I would play around with OC'ing my video card.
I made a system restore point
Installed newest detonator drivers
I overclocked it (not by much) and restarted the computer
It was running VERY slowly now
I restored the system to before I installed the drivers and OC'ed the card and restarted the computer
It was still running very slowly. I made sure that the clock frequencies were back to default, they were
I then ran Ad-aware and it found somthing like 30 objects. I deleted them.
I defragged my hard drive
Ran Norten Anti-Virus full system scan (no viruses found)
Restarted the computer and it gets to the desktop and automatically restarts. It looped like this for about 5 mins before I turned it off.
I opened the case and blew off the dust, reseated the video card, sound card, and RAM
Started the computer up and made sure the fans were turning, they were
System still automatically restarts

System specs:
P4 2.2 Gig
1 Gig RAM
Leadtek Ti4200 64mb
Windows XP Home

Any ideas? It doesn't seem like there's much that I can do......

Thanks for any help

Well.... I fixed the problem

I ran the computer in safe mode and reinstalled the old video drivers.
Any idea why this happened?

Thanks

Ok, it's happening again. I tried to install the new drivers again cause I'm retarded and it restarted by itself again. I did what I did before to fix it, but now that doesn't work either.
Any ideas?

Anyone else have problems with nvidia drivers? What's the deal with my system?

Gaming same problem

As soon as I start up my XP machine, it loads up to the log in part. I click my name and it says loading personal settings....

THEN IT shuts down saying saving personal settings....

I tried it in safe mode... SAME THING.

Have you guys seen anything like this?

Outdoors Had to reinstall windows :(

I tried everything, even virus scans, safe mode and other hacks. Nothing worked.

Reinstalled windows, all works fine.

SURE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!
