Some Keys on Laptop not responding

I have an IBM Thinkpad 600 laptop. I am using Windows 98 SE for an operating system. Some of the keys on the keypad are not responding when pressed. Can someone reply with a solution other than replacing laptop? Thanks in advance for your help

You could try calling this guy http://www.laptopking.com/ at least he should be able to tell you what you are up against---(800 #)

Make sure your function lock and number lock keys aren't on.

I had a similiar problem but just with the "s" key. Getting totally disgusted , I carried my laptop out to my shop and used LOW pressure compressed air to blow out the keyboeard and has been
working fine ever since. Good luck
