Change drive letters?

In Windows XP, how do you change the letters of the hard drives? I'd like to change mine.

nevermind, i figured it out!

Right click My Computer, then click Manage, then go to Disk management and right click the drive you want to change and go to "change drive letter or path" and it's all there! (in case anyone wanted to know!)

Why do you want to change the drive letter? Windows usually "assigns drive letters as follows:

A & B: floppy drives
C: Main Hard drive, boot drive
D & E: Optical drives, CD and DVD
F thru......additional harddrives or removable media drives.

If you change a second hard drive to B,D, or E, it may confuse the issue when you add extra perhipals to the machine later.

Just a thought.
