Hi realdramaqueen,

Welcome to techimo,

First and formost, run a virus scan on your computer. Here is a link for a free scan : http://housecall.antivirus.com/house...tart_frame.asp

A similar error has been noted in M$'s site:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...NoWebContent=1

quote:
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0 or the individual software update. For information on obtaining the latest service pack, please go to:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/servicepacks/

NEXT (VERY IMPORTANT)
Stop letting people damage your machine. Tell them that your computer was messed up after they were on it, and that you expect more responsible actions from them if they ever want to use your machine again.

Please let us know if this helps(or doesn't).

Vern
