Win2k Prof boot problem

I performed a clean install of win2k prof. However when I boot up I have two choices, 1 win2k prof and 2 microsoft windows. It defaults to 1, win2k, but how do I rid of the second option. And why is it there? I reformatting the drive so no other OS should be there. Thanks in advance, Mac.

Make a copy of your boot.ini file by copying and changing the copied file's name to boot.bak and make sure you know what directory it goes into if you mess this up. View the boot.ini file in notepad and edit out the MS Windows reference for the second boot option.

GZ3's way is better and easier though.

Thanks. I chose GZ3's way. Still not sure why there would be two OS's showing.
