FreeBSD 5 and screen resolution

I've successfully installed FreeBSD 5 and managed to get X up and running, however, the screen resolution is set too high. I'd like it to run at 800x600 or 1024x768, but I'm not sure what file to alter and what settings to change.

If someone can lead me to the proper file, it would be appreciated.

Well I successfully configured FreeBSD and I'm posting from it right now.

I'm using KDE as the desktop manager at the moment and using Konquerer for web browsing at the moment, but that will change soon enough.
