Playing DVD

I istalled the Lite on DVD+R/+RW and the InterActual Player software. I get a erroe when I try to play a dvd movie,
"Error PL4013: Playback failed due to a problem with the video subsystem. You may be using an unsupported display mode or your system may not have a working decoder installed. Please ensure that your DVD decoder is functioning properly by launching it from Start | Programs. Click “Help Online” for details on how to correct this problem".

System information says that no decoder is installed. Does Powere DVD XP do this? What are some recommeded programs to play dvd's?

powerdvd doesnt do this...or at least i have never had the problem.

i like pdvd, its the best that i have seen, but then again that doeesnt say much
