My CD Burner Isn't burning right

My burner is having problems (or maybe its just me). When i burn an audio CD the quality is poor. The bass in the tracks is fuzzy and sounds terrible compared to the original quality. When I burn an mp3 disc the sound quality is perfect. I am using musicmatch jukebox to burn these disks. Any settings I can change to make clear audio disks?

Have you played the CD on any other device, like car player , etc.?
Have you tried to burn with Windows media player software??
I"ve used Adaptec 4 that came with my Plextor on all my other burners and had no problems, maybe try that, should be really cheap by now.

I don't burn a lot..no music, and mostly data backups etc. So, what I say is from reading elsewhere.

I have read several others that had poor burns and a new or better quality disk fixed it. Not all disks are of the good quality needed for music reproduction. If you have not already, try a couple of different makes of media.

Of course, this problem could also be caused by a weak laser in the burner..not responding to all frequencies maybe?..
