Systems Ati Radeon 9800pro problems

Hi all out there I hope u guys can help me!!

Well I got A P4 2.53 Ghz with a ati radeon 9800 pro chip from HIC Excalibur and ever since I got this card I have little problems when i play games. When I play after a while i start seeing small squares with funny colours and then they start to get more and more and some times until it starts to damage the whole game that means i cant see anything can any 1 help me please.I had a ti4600 and had no problems. The speed of the games are perfect but this problem is quite bothering .I have tried all the drivers and also omega I tried reinstalling my windows xp because i thought it might be because of the old drivers what I had in my computer and I dont think its over heating because I have my computer open and my graphic card has artic cooling on it and its stay with a normal heat tempreture. Thank you hope to hear some ideas....... Bye

Could not giving the card enough juice cause artifacting, oh gurus of the video realm? As overheating has been ruled out, as have driver problems it seems, what else is left? I would think incompatibility with a chipset would be a lot more apparent in a continuous manner. Perhaps just a bad card also.

well I have no idea I just tried max payne 2 on it was cool fast and cool graphics no problems till now I how it stays.I thin its got to do with the direct x9.0 it looks like the games with directx 9 work much better on it as the games with directx 8 thats what I think cause I tried also Tomb Raider angel of Darke and it was also ok so I thinks that the problem it does not work so good with games that work with directx.

my 9800 pro suddenly like crashes, it looks like atari all over again and a messed up one at that. not just little squares i mean instant scrambled eggs. I have a 400w ps with 2 hds on it and one cd drive with my graphics card. let alone the no agp texture support i have. What gives with all this?
