Call of Duty sucks!
Well, it doesn't suck.
The graphics look alright, but they play great! The graphics of MOH looked nice, but my 3200+/G4 still has trouble playing that game smoothly.
The problem is the the guns sound like CRAP! They sound like tin cans going off. There is no "umff" to any of the sounds. I feel like I am shooting BB guns.
Also grenades have no BOOMING sound. I should feel my heart explode when a nade goes off. I DO have to compliment the game on that cool effect where everything gets blurred and time slows down after a concussions goes off, very cool.
Also, why do the people look so funny when they move? They look like wierd dinosaurs something in their movements.
Game looks cool, but little things make me not like it. Maybe with a new animation department, and a sound addon, this game would rock.

Hehe wargamers can be a picky bunch.
I'm still waiting for M$ to release a demo for Halo PC, can't wait to see how my rig will run it and make it look.

Well, when I say well, I mean playing at 1600x1200 with 50+ fps. NO computer rig can pull those numbers.
I have a Athlon 3200+ and a GeForce 4600, and I can play the game at 1024x768. It looks great, and plays fine (30 fps and up) excpet when four or more guys get on the screen. Once a firefight breaks out then frames go down in the single digits. Really hard since you die qucikly in that game.
What are your specs again ArticFox?
EDIT: lol I forgot this was my Call of Duty thread, Kind of off topic. Post in my Halo for PC thread if you want to continue that discussion ArticFox.

Halo is a very powerful game and it's not that good if you have played it before. As for Call of Duty it is and it will be the best PC game ever!

first off.... ITS A DEMO!
They arent gonna put all the the good sounding stuff in a demo. its only like 160mb. When the game comes out im sure it will sound a lot better. As for grenades, i think they are pretty accurate to how it would really be. The people....some say...look like marshmallow men....if you are dissing a game on that, that is pretty sad.
