thanks guys
thanks anyhows peeps- I was doing everythign correctly... its just that I never realized how much impact the "real drivers" had on the damn thing- after I DLed it from the site and installed i- works peachy

but now I have a different Q... I installed every damn game the thing has to offer :P- but where can I find the instructions for each one?

Try clicking help on the menu bar if there is one;there is a handbook sometimes.If not there may be a link.
Also check /usr/share/doc;if there are any docs for a particular game(or program) you can usually find it there.
