Gabban is on a distinguished road

Hello! Heres what Im trying to do. I want to have a in home set up playhing 24 hr video to net. I have capture card and cpu connection. Pentium 4/1.3/256/40/XP. Would I need more than 1 processor to do so, more than 1 camera. I have 3 montior set up now.

Are you talking about a webcam type setup?

Then no, only one CPU is needed, no matter how many cameras you wired up. Although your proc is rather old, but it will do.

What processor do u recommend in order to do so. Also to what I have now till i get the money...How do I wire it up to do so? More than 1 capture card needed?

Well I've never set one up, so I really don't know anything about capture cards and the like. If it's a camera made specifically for webcam duties, it should have come with software and instructions in order to set it up. Hell, even my digital camera came with a webcam application.

If someone else that knows what their talking about (aka not me) sees this, I call out to fellow TIMO members for assistance.
