SERIOUS 9800 PRO PROBLEM!!!!!

Hey guys, I have a VERY serious prob. Let me give u my sys specs. p4 2.4@2.6 800mzhfsb, 9800 pro 128mb, Abit IC7-G Max2, 512mb of ddr400 OCZ Platinum Series, WD raptor, WD 600bb, audigy gamer. I have installed every new update and all have the latest drivers. When I had my old rig setup it was the same thing but with a ti4600 4x 128mb geforce card. I got a total 3dmark01 of 13336. Now I recently upgraded my video to the 9800pro. I was very dissapointed with outcome. 14600 marks. That cannot be right. With the 03 version i get a stable around 5000frms from the old ti of 14400 frms. I guess that is a improvment of the old card there. But I don't understand what is up with the 01 verison. I noticed that I my card supports fastwrites but I can't enable it in the settings. That could be the prob but I doubt that's it. I've tried EVERYTHING!! I do not know what to do. Please HELP!! ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRICIATED.

Are you sure AF and AA are not turned on in 3dmark2001? BTW, shouldn't your mobo be MAX3? Not MAX2?

The settings are all at default, and I still can't get fast write to work. I change it in the Smartgart and tells me to reboot but when I come back into windows it goes back to off setting. Yeah, I was pretty dissapointed when I bought my mobo. It is max2. When I looked for updates on the Abit site the next when I got it, the max3 was comming out. But it's a good board.

Try changing the fast write in the BIOS.

having a problem with my card radeon 9800 playing silky smooth in my other games but w/ jedi knight jedi academy it seems glitchy? like a flash of the screen flashes kinda like a disco ball lol hehe but not that drymantic dont know if my card is overclocked to much or what any ideas let me know later all

Go into settings and tone down the quality levels.

Hey! I thinnk I can get some real help in this room. I just purchased all in wonder 9700 pro. I want to do video capture and video edit. I have noW all in wonder ve is this compatible to Xp Im going to upgrade. Also can i use both cards at once? How do i do a 2 monitor hook up. Would there even be a point in using 2 capture cards..How about if I use ati wonder ve with winno vidam wioth xp..will it work?

did you lock the agp. If this isnt locked you will also overclock the agp slot when overclocking your system. Make sure to lock it.

First off, The Radeon 9800 Pro will not give you a very big boost in DX8 games and benches. It will be faster but you will see most of the cards potential in DX9 and newer gaming benchmarks.
